2022 PYAS Creative Camp & Art Show

Art Camps don't have to be just about painting and creating, they can also be interactive and immersive to! This Summer, enroll the kiddos in our PYAS Creative Camp & Art Show for them to learn, create AND display their Masterpeices!

What is PYAS Creative Camp & Art Show?

PYAS Creative Camp & Art Show is a 6-week, Summer art program, created to teach kids different art styles, techniques, and show them how to flex their creative muscle. At the end of the Creative Camp, all of the kids will have the opportunity to showcase their work in the Creative Camp Art Show and receive a Certificate of Creative Excellence.

What is Included in this Camp?

In our Creative Camp Program, your child will:

• Participate in Five (2-hour) Sessions leading up to the Creative Art Showcase;
• Have an Itinerary of their Session Times and project Descriptions;
• Admission in our Art Showcase
• Wall Display and Name Card for their work
• Recieve a Ribbon (Kids)/Certificate (Teens) for their creative Work.

When and Where will the Camp Take Place?

The Creative Camp will take place June 18th - July 16th, every Saturday, at Pink Yolk Art Studio, located at 797 W. Wheatland Rd, Duncanville, Tx. The Art Showcases will take place at varied Dates/Times for the Kids and Teens.

Will there be Food/Refreshements?

Our Studio is fully BYO (Bring Your Own). You are more than welcome to bring Snacks and Refreshements for your Child to enjoy, as there will be a break-time during the session. 

Will my Kids get to Keep their Art?

Yes! After each session, we will hold their art in the studio for safe-keeping and display set-up for the Art Showcase. Once the Showcase is done, they'll be able to take all of their art home with them.

What is the Age Range for Registration?

For the Kids Creative Camp, we accept ages 6-12 / For Teens Creative Camp, we accept ages 13-17. 

Session Times and Projects will vary depending on the age of the Registered Child.

Do I need to be present Durning the session?

Yes, We require at least (1) Parent/Legal Guardian to be present, to chaperone their Child/Children during the session. There will be additional seating available, during the session. 

We will not be responsible for watching the Child/Children after the session is complete.

What Happens if my Child Misses a Session?

If in the event your child is unable to attend a session, You will have the option to either: A) Have their project prepared as an Art Kit for them to complete at home -or- Schedule an Open Studio Session with the instructor at a later time for them to complete their project. If able to, please let us know in advance, so that our artists can prepare the Kit(s).

Do You Accomodate Children with Special Needs/Disabilities?

At the moment, we do not have the means to accomodate children with Special Needs/Disabilities. We are currently working towards an Art Therapy pogram and would love to have that available in the near future.
